Kapugama Deeganage Jagath Prasanne, born on January 20, 1964, in Colombo, is a proud old boy of Sri Sangaraja Central College, Colombo 10, and a respected figure in Sri Lankan amateur boxing.

Early Life & Introduction to Boxing

Jagath began boxing in September 1978 at Sri Sangaraja Central College. From the moment he joined the school team, he showed exceptional discipline and natural ability, quickly rising as one of the school's leading boxers.

Jagath's school career was filled with notable victories, bringing great pride to his alma mater:
