Jagath Garmunu De Silva Gunarathna
Born on March 16, 1958, Jagath Gamunu De Silva Gunarathna is a dedicated Sri Lankan boxer whose passion for the sport began at Cary College in 1975. That year, he won the 115 lbs title at the school's Inter-House Meet and emerged as Junior Champion, marking the start of a successful career.
Representing both Sri Lanka Navy and the Defence Services, Jagath excelled in the Featherweight and Lightweight divisions. His major achievements include:

Com. Abdeen, Late DIG Dharmasiri Weerakoon, and Sisira Jayathilake, who helped shape his disciplined and determined boxing style.
