A.G.N. Bandara (USP) began his boxing journey in 1994, representing Pilimathalawa Central College under coach M.U. Perera. His natural talent and discipline quickly made him a standout in the school boxing arena, marking the start of an illustrious career spanning over two decades.

After retiring from competition, Bandara dedicated himself to coaching and sports education.

He served 25 years (1997-2022) in the Sri Lanka Army, retiring as Warrant Officer 1

Beyond the Army

Now based in Oradea, Romania, Bandara coaches the Titans Fitters MMA & Kickboxing Team and remains active as a fitness enthusiast - earning 4th place at the Oradea Night Run Half Marathon.
