L.T. Bandara, an outstanding boxer from the Gajaba Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army, stands among the most consistent and disciplined athletes to emerge from the forces. Competing in the Lightweight category, he showcased remarkable skill, endurance, and dedication throughout his career.
For over a decade, from 1991 to 2004, Bandara dominated the Lightweight division at major national tournaments. He secured victories at multiple prestigious meets including:
